An apparition of the face of Jesus Christ was found on the hillside after a landslide in Putamayo, Colombia. When news broke out, hundreds of people flocked to witness the miracle and to worship near the area. Police authorites had to be involved in managing crowd control and ensuring safety.
It became so popular that local landowners were able to establish a charging fee to those who would want to visit and get in close proximity to the apparition. However, there are some people who claim that they could not see any image of Jesus at all but rather just a pile of dirt. Believers would then argue that only the people with a deep Christian faith would be able to see the formation.
This is not the first occurence of an apparition. In fact, all over the world especially in very religious countries, these phenomenon often take place.
Many believe that these are signs from God to restore faith or to set a reminder for people to repent all their wrongdoings. Of course, no one can really prove these claims and no concrete evidence has yet been provided to legitimize them. What people can only do now is to have a strong faith and choose what to believe in.
